Rate limits (per minute)
- Upload mode: audio is split into 60-second chunks and each chunk = 1 transcription request. The AI gateway allows about 10 transcription requests per minute, so you can generate roughly 1 video up to ~10 minutes long per minute, or multiple short clips totalling ≤10 minutes of audio.
- YouTube URL mode: 1 request per video (captions are fetched in a single call). You can pull about 5–10 videos per minute before YouTube itself rate-limits the caption endpoint.
- If you see a 429 rate limit, wait ~60 seconds and retry — the window resets every minute.
Audio is extracted in your browser and transcribed minute-by-minute in the language you pick above.
